Can not Resolve a DOI　of a Chinese database CNKI

when I submited a DOI of a article in a Chinese database CNKI, such as '10.13336/j.1003-6520.hve.20160308018', https://www.doi.org/ can resolve and redirect to the address of the article i.e. http://www.cnki.net/kcms/doi/10.13336/j.1003-6520.hve.20160308018.html, however, Zotero can not resolve this DOI, and prompted me 'Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier.Please verify the identifier and try again.' Anyone know the reason? Many thanks.

Zotero isn't currently able to retrieve metadata for CNKI DOIs -- this may be possible in general (as you can see, Zotero is able to import from the resolved page), but the lack of an API for CNKI DOIs makes this a lot more difficult to implement.

now，we can find DOI of a chinese paper,look at "http://www.chinadoi.cn/portal/index.htm",it can reslove chinese doi,please Zotero developer help us solve this problem.Thanks!

only add "http://dx.doi.org/" or "http://dx.chinadoi.cn/" before doi,it can reslove chinese paper html address,we can find the paper. And i found the API ,you can go "http://www.chinadoi.cn/portal/newsAction!help.action?type=4" find the open API.

The DOI resolution doesn't help us get the metadata, though. The OpenURL API would be helpful, but if you actually try out the example for getting paper metadata it returns an error page.

No change swith Zotero. I'm also not aware of any reference manager importing CNKI DOIs nor on any updates to their API, sorry.

thanks @adamsmith . I contacted the manager who said DOI lookup service is not free, Zotero can contact cuixl@Wanfangdata.com.cn for the cooperation in detail.

Ugh. Metadata behind a paywall.
Even if they'd be willing to give Zotero free access, that won't work. Zotero can only reasonably rely on open APIs since the actual requests come from the users, not from Zotero.
