Hi. I'm having issues opening Zotero on my mac. I keep getting a message that says "Your Zotero profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." I am able to go to zotero.org and see my library. I tried to download a newer version but nothing will open. Any help would be appreciated.

    This means that permissions are incorrect on your Zotero profile directory or the cache folder in /Users/:user/Library/Caches/Zotero or something else (e.g., security software) is preventing Zotero from writing to those locations. Your current user account needs to have write permissions to all files and folders within those folders, and should by default unless you copied these files from another account.

    To start, you can try just deleting /Users/:user/Library/Caches/Zotero.
