Removing DOI and Retrieved from APA style bibliographies ?

Could someone help me modify the APA style definition to remove the DOI and "Retrieved" fields from the bibliography?

I need an APA bibliography that looks like this (italics not showing below):

Edinger, J. D., Stout A. L., & Hoelsscher, T. J. (1988). Cluster analysis of insomniac’s MMPI profiles: Relation of subtypes to sleep history and treatment outcome. Psychosomatic Medicine, 50, 77–87.

What I get is this:

Blennow, G., Romelsjö, A., Leifman, H., Leifman, A., & Karlsson, G. (1994). Sedatives and hypnotics in Stockholm: social factors and kinds of use. American Journal of Public Health, 84(2), 242–246. Retrieved December 12, 2008, from http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=1615006&rendertype=abstract.

Burström, K., Johannesson, M., & Diderichsen, F. (2001). Health-related quality of life by disease and socio-economic group in the general population in Sweden. Health Policy (Amsterdam, Netherlands), 55(1), 51-69. doi: 11137188.

This issue has been, ahem, discussed before: http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/798/ms-integration-bibliography-retrieved-unwanted/

Thank you!

  • Here is explained how you can remove the doi:
    http://forums.zotero.org/discussion/4884/doi-reference-in-apastyle/

Not sure, why you get the URL, my output (2.0b4) looks like this:

Blennow, G., Romelsjö, A., Leifman, H., Leifman, A., & Karlsson, G. (1994). Sedatives and hypnotics in Stockholm: social factors and kinds of use. American Journal of Public Health, 84(2), 242–246.
  • For the URL, try unchecking the option "Include URLs of paper articles in references" in the export tab of the Zotero preferences.
