More enterprise friendly version of Zotero?
Is there a way, could there be a way, or could there be consideration of a form of Zotero that institutions (academic in my case) can properly control the update cycles? Basically, providing the means to prevent the software when networked, from checking for updates, and disabling update notification messages. And maybe even updating automatically, like Firefox and Chrome is able to do?

dstillmanedited November 8, 2018The current Zotero is built on Firefox, so you can adjust the same about:config settings (e.g., app.update.enabled) by going to the Config Editor in the Advanced pane of the preferences (or editing prefs.js in the Zotero profile directory).
