library won't sync between 2 computers

Why won't this work? I am not trying to sync attachments, just citations.

    Thanks. I've read this page. Citations on home computer will not sync w/work computer. I tried the reset option. I am not getting the small yellow badge. Nothing happens at all.

    Also, citations on home computer will not post to my public page.

    It is as if the citations on home computer are read by home computer only. I can add citations to that library without a problem.

    Is the home computer somehow not recognizing my account, even though I am logged in?

    I have not added a Webdav account because I have no file attachments. Correct?

    The directions are too "techie" and I am wary of dong this on my home machine. Would it help to deinstall Zotero and then reinstall it?
