Use with Google Drive?

We have been using Zotero successfully with Word for a number of years. Recently, we became involved with a collaborative paper that is being managed over Google Drive. Has anyone used Zotero inside Google Drive on a paper being actively written on that platform?

Google Docs integration is currently in beta testing:

Note that you cannot open an existing Word file with Zotero citations in Google Docs and maintain the connection with Zotero--the citations will be converted into plain text.

At the moment, the best approach is to use the ODF Scan plugin for Zotero. You would insert placeholder "Scannable Cite" citations for the citations in Google Docs, then export it to ODF when you are finished writing and open it in LibreOffice to convert the citations to the correct formatting.

if you mean storing your data with google drive, then no, that's not possible and there are unlikely to be updates on that any time soon.

Its pretty easy to use Zotero with Google drive to store files. Simply use Zotfile to send the pdf to your google drive folder and use relative links. You can then mirror your zotero library on multiple computers (note this is not using google drive to sync any zotero databases, just the attachment files).

@zoziano: What are you referring to? Google Docs integration was released last month. You can store linked files in Google Drive using ZotFile as described above.
