Upgrade StorageZotfile renames pdf attachments when I send to tablet

I'm trying to annotate an annotated pdf. I read online that the way to do this would be to right-click on the _annotated.pdf file and send it to tablet. This works (I can see and add to my previous annotations), but when I do so, the file is renamed to the original file name without the "_annotated" part at the end. When I "Get from Tablet", the new document has the "_annotated" suffix again (and sometimes "_annotated_annotated"), but I can't tell which document is the first annotated version. I want to delete it, but I don't want to mistake it for the original clean copy. Any advice?

bwiernikYou can disable the “_annotated” suffix in the Zotero Preferences.

jasgreHi, thanks for the comment, but the issue isn't the _annotated part, it's that when I send my annotated pdf to the tablet folder, it reverts the naming to the original convention, so I don't have a record of if it's the original or previous versions of the annotated document without opening the PDF itself.
