storage issues

I have a flag on my zotero page that tells me I am out of my storage quota and it will not save any more information. When I look at my settings it indicates that I have only used half of my storage. I don't want to purge my storage because I am working on projects right now. How can I fix this problem without have to pay for more storage. I don't feel like I should have to when I have only used half of what should be available.

    Make sure you're using the same account both places. You can check which account you're currently using in your client by checking the username in the sync preferences.
