capture tweets

When I try to capture a tweet, I do not always get the "save to Zotero (Twitter)" option. It's hit and miss, and I cannot tell what determines whether the option appears. Do others have this problem too?

As far as I know, this should always work for single tweet views, i.e. when the URL is in this form

Ah, that's interesting. It does work for that tweet. Is it because it is not part of a thread? But many of the tweets that I would like to capture are part of threads. Also, it doesn't seem to work for this one: https://twitter.com/derxen/status/1046710530981990402

I've worked it out (I think). In a tweet on your time line, you select 'copy link to tweet', then open that link in a separate tab, and then zotero can capture it as a tweet, with all the right metadata. Is that it? It works, but it is a bit cumbersome. There is no other way?

You can click on the timestamp in a tweet to get to the single link view (e.g. 6:36 AM - Oct 1, 2018 in your tweet above)

Hmm, that doesn't work for me. That is to say: I only seem to get that clickable time stamp when the tweet is embedded, like the one above.

The timestamp for newer tweets appears as how long ago the tweet was posted, i.e. 2h etc.
