Zotero Error 11 October 2018
Whenever I try putting a source in a Word document through Zotero I get this error:
The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error -1743.) @[getDocument:application.m:83]
I have Word version 14.2.0 and Mojave version 10.14. Any ideas about what is happening between the two?

dstillmanWord 14.2.0 is a very outdated version of Word 2011. You should start by upgrading to the latest version of Word 2011, which is 14.7.7.

stanmaklanI followed the link and in theory therefore Zotero should work with Mojave, if only I lived in the land of In Theory.... everything seems to work there. In Practice, regrettably where I live, I ask anyone with the expertise and who is using a MAC,is Mojave creating substantive problems for MAC users. I am most interested in the basic functionality of manually entering new articles in my library, and using in-text citation and bibliography generation. Those of the critical ones for me to continue writing papers... N

dstillmanedited October 15, 2018Zotero works fine with Mojave. The linked thread describes one easily fixable problem that occurs if you decline a permission request. There are no other known bugs, which is why we list 10.14 as supported on the system requirements page.
