I am using version 1.5 beta, Mac OS X, Firefox V. 3.0.8. I'm attempting to use my existing idisk account to work as a storage server. I've checked the enable file syncing box and entered my URL: idisk.mac.com/USERNAME (not displayed here)

I've created a folder on the root of my idisk called zotero, and I've entered my username and password but when I click on verify server, it tells me that "http://idisk.mac.com/copdawg812/zotero/ is not a valid WebDAV URL."

I've tried both WebDAV and WebDAV secure, but no luck either way.

    Suggestions?
  • I installed 1.5 and have a somewhat large library (1000 items?). When I installed, the syncing arrow rotated forever (like a few hours) but didn't actually sync. Subsequently, I have shut down and restarted multiple times and now the arrow will rotate for a bit, then show the error icon. It says "Last error: invalid response from server." Still no initial sync and seemingly no way to get one.

    I double checked my username/password.
  • I synced up my collection of at one point over 2k refs and it worked fine. Can you make sure your account info in the sync pane is right and then use the restore to server button.
  • I am trying to sync my library to the folder https://mydisk.se/pavithran/zotero/ The message i get is the storage server didnot accept the username or password u entered. Please help i am using Zoetro 2.0b4
  • Search previous threads; mydisk.se disabled webdav for zotero users during the 1.5 beta & I don't think they've reinstated it yet (despite improvements made to the zotero 2.0 beta).
  • hi
Thanks for that. Could u please suggest some free webdav account which i can use with zotero.
