Second citation with short title in Chicago full note
Hi everyone,
This question has already been asked, but sadly not answered. I am using Chicago full note 17th.
As is standard with this style, the first citation looks like this:
Victor Leontovitsch, The History of Liberalism in Russia, trans. Parmen Leontovitsch (Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh University Press, 2012), 1.
Second citation of the same reference immediately afterwards will only state author and page, like this:
Leontovitsch, 4.
I would like that the second citation state the author, the short title and page.
Leontovitsch, History of Liberalism in Russia, 4.
Would anyone know how to do that?
Thank you very much

You provided the old code for Chicago 16th no ibid, but I didn't get how to have short titles all the time...
