How to save to csl in notepad?

I edited an existing citation style in notepad and now I'd like to save it to zotero. But everytime I try to save it with a csl extension in notepad instead the .txt extension gets tacked on (resulting in APA.csl.txt). What am I doing wrong?

Try putting the file name in quotes when you are saving it, so instead of saving it as my-style.csl save it as "my-style.csl".

or just remove .txt after you've saved the file (rename)
