how to recover word updates in zotero?

I failed to save some updates in a word file which exists in zotero originally before my Mac shut down accidentally. When I reopen the word file in zotero, it didn't save all my recent updates. How do I recover it? (The original word file is still there). Can anyone help with it? Many thanks.

    I'm not quite sure what you mean here. What do you mean by "updates"? What do you mean by "reopen the word file in zotero"?

    If you're just saying you didn't save changes to your Word document that happened to contain Zotero citations, that wouldn't really be related to Zotero. It's unlikely you'd be able to recover those changes, but we also wouldn't be the ones to ask. (There are sometimes some auto-save files in various locations on the hard drive, but generally Word would tell you if it had anything.)
