Exporting Just One SubCollection

I apologise right off for not understanding the nature of this beast before starting to play with it.

I want to export (into a common Pages page) just one part of my Library. Just one SubCollection.

But it isn't showing as possible when I right click it.

I have spent a lot of time adding things to this subcollection to be able to put a bibliography at the end of a Pages project but have obviously mis-understood the theory behind the Library. Am only just now finding that all my work is for nothing.

Can anyone help me?

    Hi Susan,

    You should be able to right click on any collection or subcollection that has items in it and chose the option to "Export Collection". Can you see the option but it just wont allow you to chose it?

    You can also select all the items in a given collection by hitting Command+A on a Mac or CTRL+A on a PC, once all items are selected you can right click and chose "Export Selected Items.."

    Thank you! Yes you are right - it is there but it is greyed out and not available to me - I can see it ok :(

    Susan: The only time "Export Collection..." should be grayed out is if there are no items in the collection. I'm not sure why it wouldn't otherwise. Does it show up for any collections? Have you tried restarting Firefox? Are you using the latest version of Zotero, 1.0.0b4.r5? (You can check by selecting "About Zotero" from the Actions (gear) menu in the Zotero toolbar.)
