Accidentally clicked "unlink citations"

I have the most recent versions of word and zotero on a mac. I am in the middle of writing a manuscript and accidentally hit "Unlink citations" instead of refresh. Now none of my citations are linked and I hadn't had the bibliography made yet. Long story short, I need help un-doing this because I don't know which citations go to what number!

    could you not just close down Word without saving? That would let you go back to the most recently autosaved or saved version. Alternatively, using ctrl+z a bunch of times should also undo this (like any other Word action)

    On Windows, you would only need to click Undo once.
