non-sequential page references

I use Scrivener as my basic writing tool. Then I save the mss as an rtf file and use Zotero to do a scan. But apparently, Zotero doesn't like non-sequential page references. For example, if I have a Zotero create a citation in the following format: {author, title, year, 3, 5} the scan just replicates it instead of creating a properly formatted footnote. Is there a workaround for this situation? Perhaps different punctuation for the page references?

    You should use the ODF Scan Plugin, rather then stock RTF Scan. It is much more robust and reliabile. It can handle page numbers like this.
