Zotero continuing to create daily tmp zip files although I increased storage

Please help me stop Zotero from creating daily temp zip files (over 2,000) that consume my hard drive space. Some are over 2 mb. I discovered that I had max-ed out storage so I purchased 2 gig yesterday, but Zotero still created the temp files.

Please advise.

    Ok. I restarted my computer and Zotero and the tmp zip files are gone. But what is going on with all the JavaScript files (*.js) in Zotero storage? They take up a lot of space.

    The js files are part of webpage snapshots. The snapshots may not render as expected if they weren't there. The zip files are used too make upload of the snapshots more efficient (fewer files to upload).

    If you don't want to take webpage snapshots, you can disable this in the General pane of Zotero preferences.
