Springer book section import error (error id: D785407927)
Hi Adam,
I've not attempted to import individual sections of a book for a while, but this morning the occasion arrived.
I'm using:
¤ Zotero 5.0.55
¤ Zotero Connector 5.0.40
¤ Chrome 68.0.0.3440.106 (Official Build) (64-bit)
¤ Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
URL: https://link-springer-com.libezproxy.open.ac.uk/book/10.1007/978-3-319-54413-7
When I attempt to 'Save to Zotero (Springer Link)' icon I get the item selector. I select a few items and click OK.
The 'saving to…' box pops up for a couple of seconds and then vanishes having saved nothing.
All droppings in debug report D785407927.
If you need more details, please let me know.
Kind regards,
Geoff

@dstillman could you please check the debug?
I ensured that cookies are all allowed on the page, but to make sure I cleared it out and re-set the privs: no blocking of scripts or cookies. That didn't appear to make any difference though. However, when I switched off the proxy, everything came through quite happily so it looks like there could be an interaction with the proxying. Strange.
I'm afraid I've spent too long on this right now (deadlines looming!) but I'll have another play in a couple of weeks when my dissertation is done. I'm just picking off a few last minute references when I hit this and thought I should bring it to the teams attention in case it was important. I don't know how I would have coped without this wonderful tool over the last few years, I'm still a very happy customer. :)
Kind regards,
Geoff
