Page number shows only for articles and book chapters in citations

Hi,
I am using a custom form of the "École Pratique des Hautes Études - Sciences historiques et philologiques" citation style. When I enter a page number in a citation, it only shows in the footnote if the document is an article or a book chapter. In the case it is a book, the page number will not show even tought I correctly entered it. I can't figure where in the code where it must be corrected.
Thanks in advance for any help.
  • we'd have to see the custom style to say more: post to https://hastebin.com/ click the page with the + sign at the top right, then provide the URL here.

In general terms, page numbers for citation are "locator" in CSL, so that's what you want to look for in the code.
  • Thank you for such a quick answer, here is the code of my citation style.

    thanks in advance,

  • yeah, you can see that locator is added to all types of articles in line 351 and then to all remaining item types in 370, but the item type tested for before aren't included in that, i.e. book (315) and manuscript, thesis, etc. (327) won't show locators. You'd need to find a good place to add them -- can't tell quickly where exactly that would be of course -- that depends on the style.
  • Thank you so much for your help and your time, it is much appreciated.I will try to fix it with your advice.
    Best regards,
    Félix
