All Data missing after PC-setup and new installing of zotero

Hello people ot there,
I have a bad problem: After a PC-setup I had to install zotero again and all my data is missing. I am sure I made an online backup but also online everything is gone.
Is it possible that the online backup did not work? Is there any way to get the data back? It is work of months für my dissertation that would just have dissapeared.
Please help me if you can!

    If the data aren't visible here when you click on "My Library", they were likely never synced. Do you have a back-up of your PC's harddisk prior to the update/change?

    Thanks for your quick answer! Unfortunately not. Is there any way to get the data back an other way?

    You should see something when you view your library on zotero.org (https://www.zotero.org/mylibrary). Is that incomplete or are you not seeing anything at all there?

    I'm not optimistic -- it's very likely it simply never was on the Zotero servers, and so there's no way to bring it back without a local copy. What exactly was done on your PC? Might be there's still a copy somewhere on there.

    @fcheslack: There are only some articles I added after the setup. It is incomplete, around 200 articles are missing.

    @adamsmith: all possibilities for local copies have been checked in the last hour. Unfortunately there was anything found. I`m not optimistic, too.

    Did you write any papers/theses/books with those entries?
    You could at least extract those from documents, so you don't have to add them all one-by-one.
