You must place the cursor in a Zotero citation to edit it

Hello, this message appear when I want to insert a citation. This citation is already inserted in the document today, I had no problem to do it. But now this message appear and I cannot add it. I have already refreshed, but I have still the problem. I am using Zotero on microsoft with windows 2010 and the style is chicago manual (author and date).

    Are you storing the citations as Fields or Bookmarks (check in Zotero document preferences)?

    You have a corrupt bookmark in your document, likely for your bibliography. Run through the debugging broken documents steps. As an additional step to try, you should remove your bibliography and try to change the storage type to Fields and back to Bookmarks in the document preferences. Whatever you do, make sure to make a copy of the document first.

    Do note that unless you need to share this document with someone, who uses LibreOffice, you should stick to Fields, as they are much less prone to breaking.
