APA Bibliography on Mac issue

Hi.
I use Zotero (APA 6th ed.) at home on my Mac and at work on my PC. Works great, with one exception.
Thing is, that the Bibliography is in "full group style" and not "hanging group style" as it should be.
I tried to change it manually, but each time I add a new citation, it is set back to group style only..
I dont know if thats connected to my usage of Mac and PC or if it is a Mac problem in particular. In the beginning everything was as expected. I started on my PC and the bibliography was just right. Came home, continued on my Mac and ever since then I have the trouble.
Anything I can do about that?
  • Switch to a different style (e.g., chicago) and back again. If that doesn't work modify the "Bibliography" formatting style in Word to have a hanging indent.
  • Thanks for the fast reply... Do you know wich formatting style in word Zotero is using? I have three different and actually did change them all... without success...

It is the Word style called "Bibliography". In LibreOffice, it's "Reference1". Easiest method is to place the cursor in the bibliography text and open the Styles pane. Then click the Modify Style button at the top.
  • First things first: Thank you!
The trick to change the styles back and forth worked just fine!

The thing with the bibliography didn't though (tried that myself first). Thing is, I did place the cursor in the bibliography text and it underlined "STANDARD" in the Style pane... not any of the three present bibliography Styles. Makes me wonder if I could just delete the three styles and create a new one wich Zotero is going to use from then on. Is it possible to do so? Because if it is, I would do that from the start in future dokuments
  • Zotero creates the Bibliogrpahy style and sets its formatting parameters when you change styles.
