link button

i have noticed that except snapshut button, the add link for current page button also removed. i use zotero primarly for store my studies links, and i need this button. instead of add link in one button now i need to add new item and then add new link under the new item.

also i saw in the example movie, that there is an icon in the address bar, how do i add this icon?

    Is the "create new item from current page" inadequate for some reason? It also stores links.

    You shouldn't need to add a link if you have a web page item. If there's no child snapshot that matches the parent item's URL, the View button in the right pane will take you the URL. If there is a matching child snapshot, you can either click View Snapshot to view the snapshot or click the URL label to the left of the URL field to get to the live web page.

    you right that i can use the view button.
    but if there is snapshot (and after the auto snapshot bug will reslove it will always have a snapshot), i need to expand the item then go to the snapshot item and then click on the link.
    if it is simple link i can just double click on it. it's faster and comfortable.

    btw, im a programmer so if you need help, i will glad to help!

    ok you right, i notice now that i can click on the url label. but it still more intuitive to double click on the item.

    maybe there is possible to add double click defualt action in setting menu.

    Completely agree with gilad.
    I would have never guessed I have to click on the "URL" label and not the URL itself, or to doubleclick on the entry. The current solution seems very counterintuitive.
