UI issue: scrollbar in item pane

This has probably been reported already? The scrollbar in the item panel (at least on OS X) overlaps with the +/- for authors and the dropdowns under merge. That makes it harder to add/remove authors, and to merge. Normally not such a big issue, but doing a lot of tidying up today, and it's a little annoying :)
