Edit bibliography only
Hello,
is it possible to only change the style of the bibliography where all my sources are listed and not the style of the citation within the text? When I started I chose the wrong style and want to change that now. The problem is, that if I do that now also the references in the text change and lose what I added manually e.g. page numbers.
Is there any way that would only change the bibliography?
Thanks in advance

You shouldn’t manually edit citations. Instead, you should use the Page Number, Prefix, and Suffix fields in the Zotero Add Citation window:
https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#customizing_cites
I’d recommend you take the time to go through your document and re-enter your edits into the Zotero window proper, then change styles.
A question to editing the style: I have found almost the perfect style and started editing it so that it would fit my preferences. I want the style in the bibliography to be like this: Borjas, George J. (2002): Labor Economics, 2. Aufl., Boston Burr Ridge
How or where do I add the colon? I can't seem to find that. Also for in text citation I need a "vgl." in front of the first author. Like this: (vgl. Borjas, 2002, S. 17). Is it possible to change the setting so that it does that automatically or do I have to change that manually every time?
More typically you would add things like "vgl." "siehe auch" etc. individually per citation using the prefix field in the word add on
Would I do that in the Zotero Citation Style Editor?
