Cant get Zotero Standalone to work

The error says "Couldn't load XPCOM" What should I do?

    What operating system are you on? Where did you download Zotero from?

    I'm having the same problem. I have not used Zotero in several months, and when I tried to open Zotero standalone installed on my laptop using Chrome (which I have been doing successfully for years), I received a message that said "The procedure entry point Decimal@@webcore@@QAE@ABVO1@@Zcould not be located in the dynamic link library mozglue.dll". When I clicked on the message, I received a second message that said "Couldn't local XPCOM". What should I do?

    You can just download a fresh copy from the download page and install it over your current version. Your data won't be affected.
