dragging documents from zotero to a folder

Hi, I use Zotero for, amongst other things, organsing reading lists for my students. It would be really helpful if it were possible to drag a (copy of a) file e.g. a pdf out of zotero to a windows folder so that they could easily be e-mailed to people.
