Unable to save articles from Wiley Online

I'm unable to save any articles from a particular journal on the Wiley website (AJPS). I get the message: "An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information."

For example: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/ajps.12325

When I hover over the connector I see: "Save to Zotero (Wiley Online Library)"

I'm using the Safari (11.1) connector on macOS 10.13.4. Zotero version 5.0.45. Thanks.

This is now fixed — thanks for reporting. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences.

Any further problems let us know & thanks for reporting.

Nothing works for me: Zotero 5.0.45 on Mac, Firefox ESR 52.7.3 with Zotero 5.0.35 converter.

On single paper page (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/mec.14528) it says "Save to" but don't.

On the issue page (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/1365294x/27/6) the download button for multiple papers isn't availabe.

Any recommendation?

@upena: Can you provide a Debug ID from the connector for a save attempt that fails?

Strange enough today the connector to download single papers on Wiley work fine.

Is there any chance to get the connector on the issue page of a journal back to save several papers? It doesn't function anymore on the whole Wiley site and on ScienceDirect it works after introduction of their new design only partly.

We can look at the Wiley ToC. Are you saying it does or doesn't work on Sciencedirect? If it doesn't, could we get at URL for that, too?

Great if you could fix the Wiley ToC problem.

With ScienceDirect ToC its strange.

For this journal it doesn't work:

While it does work for this journal:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/trends-in-ecology-and-evolution/vol/33/issue/5

odd. We'll see what we can do, but the fact that this appears to be a general problem (i.e., looks exactly the same for me) probably still means this isn't going to be hard to fix.

The ToC for ScienceDirect should now work, after updating the translators. I guess that the Wiley page is loading some content after, which makes detection much harder.

Hi everyone: Do you think a solution for the Wiley Issue pages will be out soon? I'm trying to save papers from this site: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/10970266/39/6, but it doesn't work.

The issue with Wiley "toc" should be fixed now. Your Zotero Connector should auto-update within 24 hours, or you can update manually by clicking Update Translators in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences. However, I see, that saving the metadata and PDF in Wiley takes quite a lot of time...

Hi Philip: I updated the connector and restarted my PC, but I still cannot save toc from Wiley. I only see the "Web Page without Snapshot" icon on the issue page. Anything else I can try?

@ssauerw Right click on the Zotero icon in your browser -> Preferences -> Advanced -> click on Update Translators. Then reload the page.

Hi: I did update the translators and restarted everything. I still don't see the correct icon to save multiple papers from the toc page. Does it work for anyone else on the above-mentioned Wiley site?

Multiple downloads aren't working from the TOC pages but I'm really happy about the fix to allow individual items to download properly. Thanks.

Saving multiples work for me and therefore I can't replicate the problem for myself.

Same here: Wiley attachments are not saved . Red cross stating: Open-access pdf or Full-text pdf. Updating Connector did not help.
