inserting citation changes bibliography (and following) formatting
I have recently switched to from Word to Libreoffice Writer, and have encountered a few issues with Zotero.
1) When I insert (or edit) a citation, the bibliography style always reverts back to the default bibliography style in Writer (Bibliography 1) even if I have defined and applied a different style (Bibliography 2). I can get around this by instead modifying the default style to get what I want (but it is definitely suboptimal to need to change the default every time you need something different instead of defining exactly the style you want).
However, if I have a heading (e.g., and appendix, or any text) following the bibliography, it ALSO changes that following text to the default bibliography style. This is true even if I insert a break or even a page break after the bibliography (it just removes the break). Any subsequent paragraphs or headings are not affected, only the one immediately following the bibliography.
Why, when I define and apply a specific style to a bibliography, does insertion of a citation still always revert the bibliography back to the default, and not only the bibliography, but the immediately following paragraph as well (which is NOT part of the bibliography)?
2) On a more minor note, when I InsertCitation, I can’t just start typing the author’s name (as was possible in Word), but first have to either alt tab over to the dialogue window or click within the search box in the dialogue window. If I just InsertCitation and begin typing it just starts typing in the citation form field within Writer. Is there a way around this behavior so that InsertCitation immediately moves the cursor to the search field in the dialogue window?
I'm using LO 5.3.6.1 and Zotero Stand alone 5.0.34.5.
Thanks,
Glenn

On the more minor note - I misspoke a little. The cursor resides outside (not inside) the form field before the citation is actually added. After inserting the citation the cursor does sometimes remain inside the field, but that issue has already been described elsewhere in this forum.
My operating system is Windows 10. And, following a prompt this morning, I updated Zotero to 5.0.41 and verified that the behavior described above still occurs.
