Sync error

It started with the Word plugin not responding. I uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero. Now Zotero says "An error occurred during syncing:".

  • See the message:
    The file 'C:\[…].pdf' cannot be created.

    Check that the file is not currently in use, that its permissions allow write access, and that it has a valid filename.

    Restarting your computer or disabling security software may also help.
  • I deleted the file, restarted, same error. I then clicked to "Empty Trash" in Zotero. Sync works now. Thank you.
