Upgrade StorageSynchronisation of annotations fails

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
I just started to use Zotfile and really appreciate it.
But I have a problem: I use different computers (office, laptop and home) - all of them have Zotfile installed. BUT: when I write on a PDF or underline its text, sometimes it doesn't synchronise and the PDF on the other devices appear without the annotations and underlinings.
What do I do wrong?

But it's only sometimes that it doesn't synchronise. And I don't understand what I do differently or don't do right.

PS. --> When I extract the annotations, the new folder with them appear on every device. It's the PDF attached which doesn't change (underlying for example or remarks don't appear)
