Item 18550 not found in Zotero

Error message 'Item 18550 not found in Zotero.Sync.Storage.getSyncedModificationTime()' prevents me to save anything on my standalone and synch with cloud. I have restarted my Zotero twice, reported the error, restarted my laptop but no progress. Can you please advise?

    Zotero 4.0 is no longer supported. You should upgrade to Zotero 5.0.

    (If using Safari, you'll also need to upgrade to macOS 10.11. If using Chrome or Firefox you can stay on 10.10.5, though all computers running 10.10 can be upgraded to at least 10.11.)

    Could you pls advise on how to uninstall Java Runtime Environment?

    Zotero works again! Many thanks.

    I was prompted to uninstall JRE and install Java Development Kit (JDK) version 8 but Zotero works even without these.

    Delighted.

    That's only necessary if you're using the LibreOffice plugin (and may not be necessary in that case either, though as far as we know it is).
