Upgrade StorageFirefox re-installed - Zotero gone.
Basically, my firefox became overloaded with a virus that was a plug in. My dad, to get rid of this virus, re-installed Firefox, deleting all plug in, including Zotero.
I don't know how to quite use it properly, so I hadn't backed anything up, I'd just saved addresses onto Zotero.
So, naturally, Zotero is gone. No trace of it or my saved addresses on the computer.
I am so desperate to get these back if that's possible, I'm a senior and I desperately need these links. Yes, I know I should have backed up, but now I just need help.

amacom73There's a pretty good chance that if you reinstall the Zotero plugin, your data will still be there. The data live in your firefox profile, not in the main firefox application (here's how to find it: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles)? As long as your dad didn't delete your profile you'll be in good shape. Also, if you were using 1.5beta with sync it should be easy to restore *from* the server in the sync preferences pane.
