Saving Multiple Items From ProQuest

I am working on conducting a systematic review, so I need to save large amounts of references at once, so that I can review them later to determine if they are duplicates or usable, etc.
When trying to save search results from ProQuest (specifically PsycINFO), I get an error after about 40 references. I've seen where others have said that ProQuest may lock you out when saving multiple entries, but has anyone found a solution to this? I need to save the individual results, not the webpage (which is what happens after about 40 references. I get an error and only the webpage is saved). Zotero seems to be the only reference manager that can save from ProQuest. I've tried Mendeley and EndNote, but they are of no help. I'm looking to save roughly 1,000 references, but am getting no where.
  • Except for writing to ProQuest (with your library CCd*) no, there's nothing you can do. If ProQuest wants to lock you out, they can and there's nothing Zotero (or, as you've learned, anyone else) can do about this.

With the increasing importance of systematic reviews, I think ProQuest will need to find a way to reasonably accommodate researchers or see their subscribers leave, but researchers need to articulate to them that this is a problem & not acceptable.

*You're CCing your library because they're paying for ProQuest and need to know that this is a problem for you and PQ needs to know you mean business.
