Citations no longer in numerical order
I created a document and included a bibliography and citations. I passed the document on to a colleague for editing and he moved paragraphs around before sending the document back to me. Unfortunately, the citations within the document are no longer in numerical order. Is there a way to fix this?

bwiernikClick the Refresh button in the Zotero tab in Word (toolbar in LibreOffice).

hduddyI've tried clicking the refresh button but it does nothing. Do I need to turn off Track Changes first perhaps??

bwiernikIf you place the cursor next to one of the citations that was moved and click the Add/Edit Citation button, does the edit window open for the existing citation? Alternatively, if you change to an author-date style like American Psychological Association, do all the citations change? If not, that indicates that the colleague lost the links to Zotero in their edits, such as by pasting the text only or by importing into an editor that doesn’t support Word Fields (such as as Google Docs). Can you describe exactly what process your colleague used?
