Not possible to synch

Although I can save web-pages locally on my first computer, I cannot synch with my internet library (that I created with my 2nd computer, because for some reason, I cannot have Zotero on both computers with the same account).
I keep getting the message "Error connecting to server. Check your internet connection".
Is there any possibility to solve this?
