Can't save from some sites, though can save from others

I can save from many online sites, but not from Google Books nor MNCAT. Have reinstalled Firefox and Zotero 1.0.9 with no luck. Have also disabled all plugins.

This is a new machine running XP. I have no trouble on other machines running XP.
  • Trouble ticket number 178980862.

And some more detail: MNCAT Plus (Primo) will work, but not MNCAT Classic (Aleph).
