Citation of all authors and not first author et al
Hi I am a first time user.
I downloaded zotero because my institution requires that instead of citing just the first author followed by et al I must cite a reference with all the authors (the first time I cite them) and after that I can then site just the first author followed by et al.
I am using Harvard2 and it still only cites the first author followed by et al?

adamsmithThis is set by the citation style -- do you really mean _all_ authors on first citation? That would be a lot of authors, potentially, so I don't think we have any Harvard style that does that (there are articles with more than 1000 authors -- that'd be an entire page for a citation..) but if you use e.g. the American Psychological Association style (which is also a "Harvard" style) it will list up to 5 authors for the first citation, which may be sufficient for you?

slim_shayneythat would be perfect

adamsmithThat style is pre-installed -- you can just switch to it under "Set Document Preferences" in the word processor add-on
-
slim_shayneythanks I see Set Document Preferences but which preference is it?
-
adamsmithYou just set the citation style to American Psychological Association there.

slim_shayneyok but wont this mess with the institutional requirement which is Harvard style?

LiborAAPA is member of "harvard" styles family I think. But you can import some another harvard style from repository. https://www.zotero.org/styles/?q=Harvard
