Automatically retrieve metadata and rename PDFs on import

    I have the opposite problem: I would very much like to have Zotero rename PDFs after I drop them into the programme, but I always have to do it manually in three steps:
    1. Drop the PDF into Zotero
    2. Right-click on Retrieve Metadata from PDF
    3. Right-click on Rename File from Parent Metadata

    Is there anyway to set Zotero to behave like Mendeley, where all these steps happen automatically when dragging a PDF into the programme?

    @fladd: I mention this above — in an upcoming version, when you drag a PDF in Zotero will automatically retrieve metadata and rename the file based on the parent metadata. The change in this thread is just for PDFs dragged onto existing items.
