File storage quota error

Dear Forums,

Apologies if the answer to this is obvious.

The error log number is: 1113850138

I use Zotero Standalone both to maintain my own reference library, but also to update a departmental bibliography at my workplace.

The error message concerns my personal storage quota:

"You have reached your Zotero File Storage quota. Some files were not uploaded. Other Zotero data will continue to sync to the server.

See your zotero.org account settings for additional storage options."

However, when I check my storage quota, my current usage is 56.2%.

The message mentions an article which I downloaded with a pdf. This I have now deleted - along with many others containing attached pdfs - but still the error remains.

Please could someone help to resolve this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

James

  • And are you the owner of the group you're managing? -- storage of files counts against that of the owner of the group
  • No, I'm not the owner of that group; just a member.
  • In that case, files in the group count against the owner's quota, not your own. Contact the owner about increasing their quota (or transferring the group ownership to you to use your quota instead).
  • It should show a different message for the group quota, though.

If it's listing a file in your personal library that you've deleted, make sure you've emptied the trash.
