A reference citing another reference.
My footnote has to say that reference X is citing reference Y. For example, Wordsworth, .... p. 89 citing Shakespear, .... p. 97. How do I do that with Zotero?

bwiernikGenerally, you would only cite the reference you are specifically referring to/actually read, not the other reference that they mention. So, in the case, you would just enter “citing Shakespeare...” as a suffix on the first Citation. If you want to cite both, then drag the two citations into the correct order in the Zotero Add Citation window and use prefixes and suffixes to get the phrasing you want.
