Zotero disappears from the screen on Word.

Hi, I can't seem to be able to make Zotero work on Word. As I add a new citation, it opens the dialogue box and immediately disappears. Really fast. Anyone else facing the same thing? I tried the Add-in option, but I think it is also not working. And also, a major difference: I get Zotero not as Add-in but rather as part of Word menu.
