Detect duplicate entries

Zotero should have a way to match new items to the existing items in the library and detect/prevent duplicate entries. I was just entering items into the library and I was able to enter the same item many times. Since some people may want duplicate entries (for instance in different collections), I would suggest implementing a popup notification, something like this:
This item already exists in your library in the following collection(s):
...
Do you wish to add a duplicate entry?
[OK] [Cancel]

    ZOTERO is fantastic, altho we all need more work is needed. One useful item would be a better user's guide, with search capability.
