Adding a second computer sync set up

I have installed Zotero 5 Mac on my lap top. I have it working on my iMac. I had a Zotero account years ago and coming back to it now. The laptop wants to sync to a account named stan; I think my account name is now stanmaklan. How do I know what the account name is of the Zotero that I am working with on my iMac and how do I ensure the lap top now syncs to that database. Dont want to wipe out the database I have worked on the past month !

    Got it - had to unlink my account first and then with a little exploration figured out how to set preferences with my current Zotero account and from there it was really easy. Sorry to trouble people.
