Turabian 8th Edition and Short Title

Per Turabian 8th, subequent citations of a book can use the "short title." The field exists, and I've populated it, but it won't show short titles in footnotes. How can I make it do this, for *subsequent* citations?

    ... some more info. In the Style Editor, when I select "Cite Position: subsequent", the individual citation lists the short title as it should appear. But in Word, the citations still have the long title. I can send you a screen shot if you tell me how to post it.

    ... nevermind! I fixed it. Here's what was happening. I had an older copy of the citation in Zotero. I had to 1) delete it, and then 2) recite each citation, but this time instead of selecting "cited" option, I chose "library" which picked up the updated version.
