Upgrade Storagedistuiguish between John (1999) and (John 1999)
Hi everyone,
I insert in Word document a text citation (John 1999) like this.
"this is an important topic (John 1999)."
It works fine. However, when I want to say: John (1999) argues that this is an important topic. Then there's a problem. The citation is still (John 1999) argues..... So to make it look right, I have to edit it. The thing is that when you switch to a new citation style, John (1999) becomes (John 1999) again, which is really annoying. So I have to go to each and every intext citation to correct them.
Is there any way in Zotero to distinguish these automatically?

SimonType "John" and then insert the citation with the "suppress author" box checked, which will insert only (1999) and persist through style changes.
