  • Jon — please try installing this build over your current version:

    http://www.zotero.org/download/zotero-1.0.0b4.r5.notefix.xpi

It's identical to r5 with the exception of a patch that should fix the problem you're experiencing.
  • Thanks for the patch, Dan. Works great.
  • I have a similar (or same) problem. And in addition can't seem to access the fix that Dan Stillman gives.

i.e. I can't access ANY of my records, and the whole thing seems fouled up. I also tried to download Zotero again but that didn't work. Going from my backup version didn't either.

All this after months of flawless working creates a certain amount of panic. My whole work life is hiding in there someplace. And makes me want you to hurry up on the remote access.

  • Hans: What do you mean by "can't seem to access"? You should be able to just download the linked XPI and install it over your current version.

Did you use the "Report Error..." feature under the Actions (gear) menu?
  • Thanks, Dan. I did finally download another copy of Zotero by control click (as documentation instructs). What I also discovered was that the Library/Application Support/Firefox folder was completely missing. I copied a fairly recent copy of all that from a back up drive to my computer. Everything works. But I have no idea why the Firefox folder disappeared.
