website without date
it seems like an Item with the type "website" where I don't have a date for is quoted with the date that is in the accessed field. That could be seen as misleading. Is there something other then a date that I could put into the date field to express that a date is not known?

adamsmithcitation styles handle this differently. Some will use the access date without label, some with, and some print n.d. or an equivalent. Don't fill in the field if you don't have a publication date.

mxnedited November 29, 2017OK, got it. The answer is here in case anyone finds this page looking for a solution https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/126584/biblatex-n-d-when-no-date-given

adamsmith(note that answer only applies if you export from Zotero to biblatex. Using Zotero's native citations, you'd have to adapt the CSL citation style you're using accordingly)
