problem to add new paper in my library

when i add new pdf paper i have this msg ""The selected file is not in a supported format""
i clic to import one file and after that nothing

i have zotero 5.0 for windows

    "Import" is for importing bibliographic data files (e.g., RIS, BibTeX), not PDFs. To add a PDF or other file to Zotero, just drag it into the Zotero window.

    Note that the best way to add items to Zotero is to use the Zotero save button in your browswer—this will save both the bibliographic metadata (for sorting, searching, and citing), as well as add the PDF or other files if available.
